Come find your passion in mechanical engineering at Ole Miss – opportunities abound!
With Ole Miss’s mechanical engineering program, you’ll find everything you need to succeed: technical know-how, real-world experience through co-ops and internships, interesting research opportunities and tons of student organizations. Plus, you’ll have the support of a strong faculty led by Chair and Distinguished Professor, Dr. Raj Rajendran.
Here’s what a few of our mechanical engineering students and recent grads have to say….
Trinity Roebuck from Southaven, MS
Trinity talks about why she likes leading the local chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, and how being part of the Center for Manufacturing Excellence has helped her.
Olivia Lanum from Brandon, MS
A recent grad, Olivia encourages students to get hands on experience while in school. She had work placements with Tesla, Raytheon and SpaceX along with undergrad research work – and says that’s what potential employers asked her about. She’s now got a full-time job with SpaceX!
John Mark Huff from Puckett, MS
John Mark explains what got him interested in mechanical engineering….and how he knew Ole Miss was the right place for him. He is also president of Engineers without Borders – check out his video on their recent project.
